DJ SISLEY

Born on the 26th of Feb of 1989 Yousef Medhat aka DJ Sisley a DJ and producer born and raised in Kuwait however of Egyptian nationality, made a discovery for his love of music at the young age of 6. He was very much attracted to the rock 'n' roll and pop music genres. Some of his idols were Michael Jackson and Elvis Prestly. By the time he reached 12 years of age while tuning into MTV was brought to the attention of Daft Punk the "Homework" album released in early 1997 which stirred his passion for mixing more than ever. At the age of adolescence his passion grew and realized that he wanted to become the DJ of his school's play. While being a part of the backstage crew he was able to mess around with the equipment, mixers and microphones and taught himself what it was to become a good sound engineer. He practiced by playing some hot drop beats, hip hop and rap music for the local mc's and b-boys. In 2003 he was introduced to electronic music after having purchased his first ministry of sound album which was a clubber's guide. By paying attention to some of the greats such as Fatboy Slim, Eric Prydz, Mylo, Axwell, Lemon Jelly, Depeche Mode and none other than Frankie Knuckles, is when he decided that he wanted nothing else but to immerse himself into mixing Electronic. By 2007 he had already been so involved into his passion that he built his own home recording studio in order to start producing and recording his own tracks. Day and night he devoted himself to the art of what is becoming a successful DJ. By Sept of 2013 he released his first original track (Going back to Jerusalem) with WMA Electric, and a few months later in Dec of the same year he also released another one of his tracks called (Hologram). His specialties are Progressive house, House music, Tech House, Deep House, Techno, Minimal and dark Tribal. He believes that music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, light to the imagination and life to everything.In 2014 release with Cassiopea Records "Ghost Town".
